Honest Focallure Twin-core Gel mask Review

Focallure twin-core gel mask review

After the sheet masks the other thing that I bought from Focallure Skincare line “FocalSkin” is their Twin-core Gel Mask. It is these adorable-looking gel masks that can help you get rid of different skincare issues. Focallure Twin-core Gel mask comes in the shape of fish and it is designed to look like a fisheye. However, when you peel the wrapper of it would look like an egg that has a transparent outer surface with the colored inner matter. The outer surface is for skin hydration while the inner colored matter focuses on the specific gel mask function. Currently, there are 4 main types of gels masks to choose from:

Tone Up: Tone Up gel mask is made from the essence of natural plants like chamomile. blueberry and arbutin. It also contains niacinamide and fullerene. To give the skin full hydration it has skincare’s favorite avocado which helps in enhancing skin elasticity and makes skin appear perfect.

Oil Control: Oil Control gel mask contains anti-bacterial properties from aloe vera and tea plants. It stops skin inflammation and absorbs excessive oil. It also has Malachite and Hamamelis, which are called “pore magnets” and are most commonly used to clean the dirt from pores. When the oil and dirt residue is deep-cleansed from the skin it helps balance the skin oil and water balance.

Acne Care: Acne care gel mask has the holy grail skincare ingredient “salicylic acid”, it can quickly soothe inflammation. This mask also has Centella which is best for reducing acne marks. This gel mask can feel cold when you apply it.

3 Mins Hydrate: As the name suggests this mask is ideal if you don’t have time and patience for a long skincare routine. It also is made of ingredients that are known for showing results quickly like lemon and hyaluronic acid. It hydrates the skin quite fast and prevents premature aging lines from appearing.

How To Use Focallure Twin-core Gel Mask:

The packaging of the Focallure Twin core gel mask is a bit tricky. Open it with something that has a sharp surface like a small knife. Then mix the transparent gel and yolk-like part with a tiny spatula. Using big items can make the product spill out of the small container. After mixing it well apply it evenly to your face. Then for acne, tone up and oil control mask let it stay for 20 minutes. For a 3-minute mask 3 to 5 minutes are enough. When the time’s up rinse your face with cold water.

My Experience:

One of the biggest drawbacks of this gel mask is its packaging. It would be great if the cover would have been a peel-off but it isn’t. When I used it for the first time the product also kept spilling. The great thing is that the quantity of the gel mask is quite generous in this price. When I rinsed my face after 20 minutes my skin felt softer and cleaner than before. If I speak honestly this gel mask isn’t as impressive as Focallure’s sheet masks. However, the price is its biggest USP and it won’t hurt to use them every once in a while to give your skin an extra boost. Also, they look really cute and you can use them every once in a while to get rid of skin inflammation and dryness.
